Coble Tax Service
Coble Tax Service is a seasonal business (September-May) who provides various services from income taxes and payroll, to acquiring sales tax numbers, EINs and more. We specialize in helping farmers and businesses manage their tax situation. Since we are a mobile tax company, we come to your home or preferred location to prepare your income taxes.
Our office is located in the small town of Quarryville, Pennsylvania nestled in between many bustling cities here on the east coast. We are a family owned business centered on bringing you the best experience possible when assisting you with preparing your taxes.

Chris Coble - Owner, MBA

Chris Coble, owner, and primary tax preparer has been doing taxes for over ten years. He believes in honest tax work and is known to be a man of integrity. Prior, he has held several positions in the financial service industry, doing accounting and investment management.
Chris has passed the registered tax return preparer exam and earned his Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University. Chris has three children with his wife of over twenty years and enjoys spending time with them at home. With any additional free time, Chris likes to read, watch sports, and go golfing.
Lorren Atkin - Office Manager, BA

Lorren Atkin has been with Coble Tax Service since 2013. She started as a secretary and is now our Office Manager. She graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Political Affairs.
She knows the Coble Tax Service business in and out and is here to help you in any way she can. Also in charge of payroll, Lorren manages local small business's payroll from around PA and MD.
Besides working for Coble Tax Service, Lorren volunteers for the Warriors on the Water Ltd non-profit, where she applies her skills to help veterans find healing through outdoor therapy. She enjoys hiking with her friends and has two friendly cats named Indy and Little G.

Joe is our newest tax preparer, who joined Coble Tax Service in 2018. Prior to working for Coble Tax Service, Joe received his Bachelor of Science Degree at Millersville University and has gained a great deal of professional experience and knowledge through various leadership roles.
He stepped down as Catering Manager with Legends Hospitality at the Lancaster Barnstormers to pursue this job in Tax Accounting. Coble Tax Service knows Joe will maintain his leadership and communication skills to provide the best possible relationship and productivity for his clients.
William Sims - Tax Preparer

Bill was the first tax preparer to be added on to Coble Tax Service in 2017. Like Chris, he is also a man of integrity and has been friends with Chris for many years. He primarily comes from a farming background, growing up on a horse farm and working on a dairy farm for ten years.
His interests are hunting, playing softball and watching his kids play their multiple sports. Working part-time for Coble tax Service, Bill usually takes the evening and Saturday appointments.
